This is a very nice salsa fresca with a kick! It's definitely Jivin. I blended mine to make a sauce just because we don't like chunky. Very delicious and the mango was a nice refresher to the heat. Me and DH both enjoyed! Great job ladies. Made for Bodacious Blockhouse Babes ZWT 5.

Congrats on your salsa! I actually only used about 2 T of onion which was enough for me. I also nixed the oil (less calories). It was bright and pretty. I loved the mango. I would not add the cilantro next time though, as it seemed to overpower my salsa. THANKS! Made for the ZWT5 Salsa Challenge.

Definitely 5 bright stars! Only change made was added a couple tablespoons diced pimiento rojo (red bell pepper) and diced poblano pepper along with 1/2 jalapeno. Replaced the hot sauce with a small chipotle chile and smidgen of adobo sauce. Made for ZWT5 Mexico Salsa Challenge.

Really excellent salsa! We loved the jalapeno & hot sauce rounding out the sweet/tart mango. I had no idea what pepitas were. DH looked them up for me & I thought I had pumpkin seeds but couldn't find them in the pantry so I used sunflower seeds instead. I wasn't sure why the lime would need to be separated. I did it but 10 seconds later was throwing it into the bowl with everything else in step 2. I know my family wishes I'd made a double batch of this! :) Thanks for creating a muy beuna salsa, Jivers! Made & enjoyed for ZWT 5 - Ali Baba's Babes.
