A cool tossed salad

  1. Cut up all vegetables with a non-reactive knife.
  2. place in bowl add vinegar and oil and toss.
  3. let set in refrigerator overnight to allow flavors to meld together, and serve cool with crouton's.

Never thought that this could be good, but it was just strange enough for me to try. :-). I made sure I had a very firm head of iceberg lettuce.I did double the recipe for the dressing though and will even make a bit more next time. My red wine vinegar is quite tangy, so I added a little splenda. Thanks for a great recipe.
