This is my 93 year old Grandma's recipe. It is tried and true!

  1. Gradually stir milk and egg into pudding mix in saucepan.
  2. Add rice and raisins.
  3. Stir over medium heat until mixture just comes to a boil.
  4. Cool 5 minutes.
  5. Pour into dessert dishes or serving bowl.
  6. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.
  7. Serve warm.
  8. (for chilled pudding, place plastic wrap over the surface of the hot pudding and refrigerate for 1 hour. Stir before serving).
