This sauce accompanies the mincemeat streusel bread pudding.
- 2 tablespoons vanilla custard powder
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2⁄3 cup 2% evaporated milk
- 1⁄2 cup water
- In a small saucepan combine the custard powder, sugar, milk and water.
- Place over medium heat, bring to a boil, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Serve warm or cool over mincemeat streusel bread pudding.
