Jiffy Cookies

"These are so yummy. My aunt submitted them to our family cookbook her story is as follows; "These cookies were served in the cafeteria when I was in elementary school. My daughter Leeann made these and entered them in the county fair and received a blue ribbon!!! The reason I chose this recipe is because they are my favorites!" I love these as well, and you can leave out the cocoa for a peanut butter jiffy rather than peanut butter and chocolate."

ingredients

• Group 1

• 2 cups sugar
• 3 tablespoons cocoa
• 1⁄2 cup milk
• 1⁄2 cup butter

• Group 2

• 2 1⁄2 cups oatmeal
• 1⁄2 cup peanut butter
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

directions

1. Boil group 1 ingredients hard for 1 minute.
2. Pour in group 2 ingredients stir well.
3. Drop on wax paper and let cool completely.
4. ENJOY!
