Jessica's Best Fried Chicken

"This was one of the first real entrees I learned to cook, and actually mastered. ;) My boyfriend begs for fried chicken at least 3 times a week! It is a little messy, but fairly simple to make, and well worth it! Again, I tend not to measure when I cook, so play with the measurements as you please!"

directions

  • Set up assembly line of bowls: (1) raw, sliced chicken; (2) milk and eggs, whisked; (3) flour and seasoned salt; (4) skillet with oil on medium/high heat.
  • Make sure oil is HOT before starting.
  • Dip chicken in milk/egg mixture.
  • Coat with flour/salt mixture.
  • Carefully place chicken in skillet.
  • Let cook for about 5 minutes, do NOT turn chicken until necessary.
  • The key is to ONLY turn the chicken over ONCE! Cook about 3-5 minutes on each side, or until chicken is cooked through.
  • Place on plate with paper towel to absorb oil.
