try this dry rub on ribs or chicken.
- 4 tablespoons ground allspice
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground red pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 crushed scotch bonnet pepper
- 1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper
- mix all ingredients together.
- rub on chicken or pork and marinate before grilling.
Wonderful! I used it in Belize Beef with Spiced Potatoes #37626 as I didn't have any commercial jerk seasoning and was too lazy to go to the store. The blend was perfect for that dish and I can't wait to try it in other recipes. Excellent!
This is great! I have used it on chicken and pork chops! I unfortunately did not have the scotch bonnet pepper and substituted hot paprika instead. My children appreciated that substution, however I could have used it with a little more kick. Thanks for sharing Chia!
I used this on broiled salmon. Delicious! I really like the flavor of the seasonings- allspice, thyme, paprika-what's not to like!
