Jenny's Peanut Butter Brownies

A favorite from the Moreland house from the family collection.

  1. Cream together first three ingredients. Blend in light corn syrup and pinch of salt. Stir in eggs and 1 tsp of vanilla. Add flour and mix well. Pour into ungreased 9X13 pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.
  2. While brownies are cooking, prepare frosting. Mix together powdered sugar, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/3 stick butter, 3 tsp cocoa, and 3 TBSP peanut butter. Add milk, a TBSP at a time, until creamy. Brownies may be frosted warm.

Mmmm, awesome peanut butter brownies made ooey-er and gooey-er with the peanut butter/chocolate frosting. How can you go wrong? I halved the recipe to make a 8x8 sized pan and it worked out perfectly. Great recipe Brooke, thanks for sharing! Made for Pick-A-Chef Fall 2011.
