Jello Pastel Cookies

READY IN: 1hr 10mins
Recipe by CrystalRN

From food and family magazine. A good cookie for the kids to make using those boxes of jello that never get made. Do not overbake!

Misread the recipe and put both boxes of Jell-O in the dough. Tasted Great, not too much cherry flavor, just right! NOTE: 400 degrees is too hot. Reduce temp to 375 for 12 minutes for a 1" ball of dough which spreads into a 2-1/2 - 3" cookie. Don't forget to press each dough ball down with a flat bottom glass which has been buttered and dipped in sugar each time. Bake on parchment paper and when cookies are done, slide each onto a cooling rack to cool. Store in tight container to keep soft. Lucy in TN
