Jello Cookies W/Frosting

Recipe by JPerez

Soft and delicious, very easy to make! Any flavor jello works - my family likes strawberry the best.

The frosting definitely helps add something to the cookies (which are bland), but these still weren't something I'd make again. I originally followed the icing recipe exactly but it came out too liquid-y. I added at least 2 1/2 more cups of conf. sugar before getting a decent consistency. I then had 3 times the amount of frosting needed.

Ingredients Nutrition

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. For cookies: Cream margarine, sugar, and box of jello.
  3. Mix in one egg at a time, then add milk and vanilla and beat well.
  4. Add dry ingredients.
  5. Drop by tsp on ungreased baking sheet.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until lightly brown.
  7. This is a very soft cookie. After completely cool, frost with jello icing.
  8. For icing: Mix all ingredients and stir. Add more powdered sugar if necessary to thicken.
