Jello and Ice Cream

"This is the way my grandmother and mother always made it. It comes out lighter and fluffier."

• Ingredients: 3
• Serves: 4

ingredients

• 2 (170.09 g) package Jello gelatin (lemon is good)
• 946.38 ml vanilla ice cream
• peach slices (optional)

directions

1. Make the jello according to directions on package and let set until it mounds when spooned.
2. Then beat in the ice cream, add fruit if you're going to, and let it set completely in the refrigerator. Or put it in a pie crust and top with whipped cream. Black raspberry and black cherry work really well, too.

yummm! I made this in Florida in 1962! I used strawberry and also lime jello, it was very refreshing when you are so warm!
