      Make the jello according to directions on package and let set until it mounds when spooned.
    2. 2
      Then beat in the ice cream, add fruit if you're going to, and let it set completely in the refrigerator. Or put it in a pie crust and top with whipped cream. Black raspberry and black cherry work really well, too.

      yummm! I made this in Florida in 1962! I used strawberry and also lime jello, it was very refreshing when you are so warm!
