This recipe was given to me when discussing ruhbarb at an aquasize class. It is really good. Jeff was our life guard. His mom says she has subsituted rhubarb with peaches or plums.

  1. Saute onions and garlic in butter until soft.
  2. Add remaining ingredients.
  3. Cook over medium low heat for 30 minutes or until desired thickness is achieved.

i had made a few changes, cut the chile powder down to 1/4 cup,used brown sugar,cut down on the water to 1/2 cup and added the zest and juice from 1 orange but this was very good will make it again
