I found this recipe while searching for Asian dressings. This is suppose to be like most Japanese restaurant's house dressings. Posted for Zaar World tour 2005.

  1. In a blender, combine the minced onion, peanut oil, rice vinegar, water, ginger, celery, ketchup, soy sauce, sugar, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper . Blend on high speed for about 30 seconds or until all of the ingredients are well-pureed.

Excellent recipe. Taste just like Japanese restaurant's dressing. I can't help but drink the leftover in the bowl.

Made several attempts in the past to re-create my favorite Japanese restaurant's salad dressing without success. This is the closest I have ever got to re-creating it. Thanks for sharing.
