Japanese Rice Side Dish

This is an easy side dish. I eat it often at my best friend's home. She does it with one pork chop, but I suppose you could use leftover turkey or whatever you want (even leaving out meat for vegetarian would be good).

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. In medium skillet, brown rice in oil or oleo.
  2. Add 1-cup chicken broth.
  3. Cover; let stand 5 minutes.
  4. Add green beans, scrambled egg and soy sauce.
  5. Toss.
  6. Put in bowl.
  7. Add to table as a side dish.
