The beauty of this recipe is for me the ease of preparation! You just dump it in, stir, and there you are. Also I liked using chicken legs since they are so inexpensive. Easy, fast, economical, and great taste all in one recipe.

Jan, this recipe is great! My family loved it. I used chicken thighs and followed Vicki's suggestion and removed the chicken while cooking down the sauce. Next time I'll add some extra garlic and chili peppers. Thanks for this delicious recipe!!

So delicious and the smell was wonderful. I had a hard time not eating it while it was cooking. My husband and 17mos. daughter loved it. Definitely one of my family favorite for years to come. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely flavors - a real find! I used chicken thighs and removed them when I boiled down liquid to a syrupy consistency. Thank you.

We found this recipe very very good. The family loved it. I served it with fried rice. I covered the pot for step 2. I did not use the chilli pepper because the rest of the family does not like anything spicy. I believe the pepper is needed to blend the flavors. Next time I will use the pepper. If it is to spicy for them it will be more for me.

I will probably re-rate this because I used chicken breasts and am sure they'd be much better with drumsticks or thighs. I served with toasted sesame seeds too. I also cooked jasmine rice and steamed some pea pods and threw in some shredded napa cabbage with chinese salad dressing. It was a very good meal.

This was INCREDIBLE! Definitely the tastiest thing I'VE ever cooked! I didn't have balsamic vinegar so I used red wine vinegar. I didn't have a pepper, so I had to skip that. It was ABSOLUTELY delicious, though. My husband loved it, too. Can't wait to make it again with ALL the right ingredients to see how much better it tastes.

This was so quick & simple to make, great if you're in a hurry or want something uncomplicated. I used chicken wingettes & served them with rice. I also thickened the sauce with a little cornflour before pouring over the rice.
