  1. Combine the oil, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame seeds, ginger, onion, celery, sugar and ketchup in a blender or food processor and process until smooth.
  2. Drizzle the dressing over the salad greens in a salad bowl and toss to coat. Serve immediately.

It tasted very Japanese to me and it must have been the ginger. I was so happy to find this recipe, all others call for sesame oil,which I cannot get here. Made it with iceberg lettuce.

Really good, especially if you like fresh ginger! We thought it could use a little more sugar, but that would be a matter of taste and choice. As any salad dressing should be, it's much better on the salad than off the spoon. Made for PRMR.
