  1. I thought this was very good, but I did have to alter it a bit. Initially, the soy sauce ( I even used low soadium) made this too salty. I added extra rice vinegar and extra (natural) sugar and some minced garlic. After a few hours of chilling, it was better. I think maybe it's too little cucumbers for the marinade as listed. Good, though. Thanx for posting!
     
  2. What a pity we did not like this salad. It was easy to make and smelled wonderful. But, the only thing we tasted was the onions, none of the other flavours came through. Anyhow, I am pleased I tried it. Thanks for posting. Made for PAC, Fall 2009.
