Jan's Super Sauce

"This is a recipe made by a very special friend of ours. Although my version never seems to be quite the same (or quite as good), it's still my favorite quick meat sauce. Exceptional with pasta. Leftovers make a great "Italian" sloppy joe on garlic bread. I make two batches and freeze the sauce for a busy night."
