Got this recipe from a girl I babysat for. They learned how to do this in Girl Scouts. Really good.
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tablespoons green peppers, chopped
- 1⁄4 cup onion
- 1 tablespoon horseradish
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dry mustard
- Combine all ingredients.
- Mix well.
- Form into thick patties.
- Grill on medium heat until desired doneness.
These were nice, but didn't have the flavor I expected with horseradish, ketchup, mustard, onions and green peppers.
No question that this is a super, flavosome burger. I used Jalapeno pepper for the green pepper and servced it with cheese, Arugula, tomato & a slice of sweet onion Delicious - Thanks for posting tuttifrutti
Don't be afraid of the horseradish in this recipe! These burgers are great there is only a hint of horseradish in them with just a bit of sweet flavor from the ketchup. These are another keeper, thank you.
