A yummy change for PB&J
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons strawberry jam
- 2 slices whole wheat bread
- Spread cream cheese on one slice of bread and spread jam on the other, throw together and eat!
Very yummy! I really liked the tart cream cheese with the sweet jam (I used cherry instead of strawberry). Since I used my own bread (Spelt Muesli Sourdough Bread) I had smaller slices so I reduced the amount of toppings a bit. I still used a bit too much I think so slicing and eating the sandwich was a bit messy, but that didnt affect the taste at all.

Used raspberry jam, since it's my favorite. Like another reviewer, I used small sized bread and halved the toppings. Really good combo.
I love this! Sometimes I will use low carb whole wheat tortillas. Fat free cream cheese and sugar free strawberry jam works just as good as the regular stuff if you want!
