  1. Sprinkle chicken evenly with salt, black pepper and red pepper.
  2. Heat oil in a Dutch oven over medium heat. Add chicken and andouille sausage and cook, stirring constantly until chicken is browned on all sides.
  3. Add garlic and next 3 ingredients. Cover, reduce heat to low, and cook, stirring occasionally, 20 minutes.
  4. Add chicken broth. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer 35 minutes.
  5. Add tomatoes and next 4 ingredients. Bring to a boil over medium high heat. Cover, reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer 20 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
