  1. Made with amounts as written, but then put a little less coffee and added the small amount of remaining chocolate ice cream from the carton, which made for a thicker shake. I loved how the coffee really added depth to the chocolate shake and also the added seasoning. This makes a small, I would say 1/2 serving, but very reach and satisfying. Thanks for sharing the recipe. Made for Almost 5 Tag Game.

  3. Whipped this up for ZWT supper tonight, and had the whole family clamoring for "more!" :-) Guess that qualifies as a 5-star rating! At least in my book! So...I didn't do anything different, except overlooked the gingerroot, but we didn't care...it was good without! And now it's midnight, and I'm STILL up and at 'em girl! Guess I should've used de-caf! *ZWT 3 Caribbean Region*

  4. Wow, I wish I could give you more stars...this is the best shake I have ever tried. I used strong organic coffee, coffee crisp ice cream, fresh spices which I ground into powder...cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom (5 pods) I also grated 1 1/2 tsps of fresh gingerroot and added 3 ice cubes. Everything blended beautifully together, to create the most exotic tasting drink I have tried yet. The cardamom takes it to new heights.... Did I say I liked it....into my keeper box this goes Kudos... Annacia

  5. Mmmmm! Great dessert! I just happened to have a cold 1/2 cup of my husband's coffee from this morning. I used powdered ginger and sprinkled all the flavors in b4 blending. Just sprinkled a little ginger in. I only use Breyer's All Natural ice cream and I added some ice to thicken it up. Thanks for a great recipe, Annacia!
