  1. Cream butter and both sugars well.
  2. Beat in corn syrup, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. Mix in flour, baking powder and salt.
  4. Roll 1/8 inch thick on lightly floured surface.
  5. Cut in 2 3/4 inch circles.
  6. Arrange on greased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake in 350 degree F.
  8. oven for 8-10 minutes.
  9. Sandwich together with choice of jam.
  10. Store in covered container.
  11. The next day they will be soft.
  12. Makes about 20.
  13. *If dough seems sticky, chill for 30 minutes.
