These are so easy, yet so good! Can be frozen and reheat well. Give them a try!
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 jalapeno pepper, chopped (seeds and membrane removed for milder flavor)
- 1⁄4 cup parmesan cheese
- 18 wonton wrappers
- Combine 1st 3 ingredients. Dip fingers in water, moisten edge of wonton. Place 1 tbl. cheese in center, fold to form triangle. Seal.
- Fry in oil, 30 seconds per side (watch – they cook quick). Can freeze then reheat in oven.
WOW, great and easy recipe. Made as direction except, after mixing the cheese mixture, I thought it needed more jalapeno, so I added another pepper. Will definitely be making these again and SOON!
Oh, this was great! I hate trying to stuff the peppers! But now I can enjoy poppers whenever I get the craving, instead of having to pay an exorbitant price for 4 poppers!
