These were the hit of the party I went to last summer in El Paso, Texas. Spicy but addictive! Wash them down with an ice cold Corona with lime.

  1. Put peppers under a broiler, and broil until skin is charred and black.
  2. Place peppers into a paper bag and let steam for about 10 minutes.
  3. Peel the charred skin off of the peppers.
  4. Mix together soy sauce and water.
  5. Soak peppers in the mixture for at least 10 minutes before serving.
