The most fantastic bread I have ever made. My dh ate the whole loaf in one sitting and forbade me from ever making it again! I took that as the highest compliment to Gerald. I am making more right now, but will shape it into buns to put pulled pork on. Yum, yum. This bread is light and airy with just the right zing. Well done!

This bread is awesome! I made it to serve with chili and it really hit the spot. I was a little nervous about the jalapenos plus the brine but it wasn't too spicy. I also used extra sharp cheddar and I thought it could've stood a little more cheese. DH ate 4 slices! What better testimonial is there?

Wow was the first comment by my family, although they did ask for more jalapenos next time. As we are cheese lovers, I didn't measure the cheese but did use most of a bag of "farm shredded" sharp cheese. It is GREAT bread! Will have to start buying jalapenos at Costco to support the nagging for more around here! :)

I've made this bread several times. I set bread machine to dough and make hamburger buns and loaf bread. We LOVE this bread. Today I used the pickled jalapenos and added 1/4 cup diced fresh jalapenos. After rising I brushed with butter and sprinkled top, with jalapenos and shredded cheddar cheese last 10-15 minutes of baking. YUMMY!!!!!!! Amazing hamburger buns!
