Delicious! I made this "our" size by using 1 pound of organic lean ground beef and making 4 burgers. I did use 1 finely minced jalapeno (seeds and ribs removed). The red onion was grated over the meat allowing the juices from the onion to be collected. The burgers were served on toasted gluten free buns with Dijon mustard, sliced tomatoes and additional thinly sliced red onion. The only problem I had was navigating the burger properly to my mouth. Made for the Diabetic Forum and the 2nd Annual Tailgate Party.

this was a great burger and the addition of avocado was great with it. I omitted the salt. I used jalapeno, without seeds. Thanks Nimz. Made for Market tag.

This is one great tasting burger. I made 2, one for tonight and one for the freezer and I'm very glad that I did :D. The only thing that I really did differently is that I used a fat free cheese. The jalapeno's give wonderful flavor without being to strong and why haven't I ever thought of putting avocado on a burger before? Some sliced tomato was the ideal go with. Thanks Nimz.

Definitely a winner of a burger- I cut the recipe back to one burger with no problem. The only change I would make next time would be to use cilantro instead of the Italian parsley. I used a clove of garlic for my one burger and it did not over power. Served on a whole wheat bun with tomato slices on the side

My favorite, my favorite! I love jalapeno's ~ just the best. We made these babies on hot September Sunday evening for supper. I have the usual abundance of jalapeno's and also many red onions from the garden this summer, so this made such use of great ingredients right on hand. Anyone can make this with ease, and the ingredients I would suspect be so interchangeable, that this truly makes this a above grand recipe. I had a block of Monterey Jack Cheese that I sliced about 1/8 of inch thick, and was able to enjoy this hamburger just the way it was suggested. The garlic clove was a perfect accompaniment with this burger, and you should plan on making two per person as they were coming back for more. I topped mine with a fresh tomato and that was all I ever needed. Thanks Nimz! A winner many times over!
