This is a wonderful broccoli salad. Everything in this salad is delicious all together. Thanks Baby Kato :) Made for the Australian recipe swap for July 2011

I've made variations of this recipe over and over again in the past, but none with cheese, and none with worcestershire sauce. I was quite surprised at the difference in the taste of this broccoli salad. This was a nice surprise....I'll try this one again!

Great salad, we used real bakinbits and it was fine, I'm sure the real bacon would have been better though. Made for holiday tag.

This was a really good salad, that was enjoyed with our dinner. I liked the sweetness of the sugar, and the tartness of the vinegar together. Made for a very nice salad!

Sugar is listed in the directions but has been omitted in the Ingredients list and I did add quite a bit of sugar to counter the worcestershire. I used 2T of worcestershire and felt that it was pretty strong, so I added extra onion, raisins and mayo to mellow it out some - that did the trick and the salad seemed to be enjoyed by my guests last night. Made for Zaar Stars.

I had this salad for the first time recently and loved it. My Mum, who lives in FL, made it for me. I gather this is a popular salad in the US. Mum didn't add worcestershire sauce but I'll give that a go. She also didn't add any sugar and of all the recipes on here (and there are several!) yours is the only one without sugar. I can't imagine that it needs it with the sweetness of the raisins.

We really enjoyed this salad. Will not add salt next time though. Thanks a lot for this recipe.

Made for PAC, Spring 2007 ~ What a great way to dress up [or disguise, as the case might be] broccoli! I am, however, not a big fan of bacon 'cause of the sodium, so I cut the amount of that ingredient down to 4 slices. I also started with 3/4 cup of mayo & added a slight bit more! Still, it was a very, very tasty salad, & thanks for posting this one for us!

I would proboably give this a 4-1/2 star if we had that rating as I found it just a little to vinegary...I added more sugar to balance it for us but otherwise...YUM

This is just what I was looking for. Loved the flavor, not overly sweet and no sunflower seeds. The only change I made was I used balsamic vinegar because I didn't have and red wine vinegar. Thanks for the recipe. I will be making this for many years to come.

Yummy salad, although I did make a few changes. I left out the bacon, and added about 1 tbls. sugar(I like a slightly sweet undertone). I used 1 tsp. worcestershire sauce and only 1 tbls. vinegar because I use Miracle Whip. Thanks Baby Kato!

My husband loves this broccoli salad and he does like broccoli! This version was new to me with the red wine vinegar and worcestershire in the dressing. I went light on the worcestershire (1 tablespoon). The raisins are a nice addition. I'll be making another batch today for my husband's birthday. Thanks Baby Kato! Roxygirl

Made this recipe for a girlfriend coming for lunch knowing how much she loves brocolli salad. Prepared the night before it was the perfect sidedish for my cheesy garlic chicken. Very good and simple to prepare. Keeps well in the fridge. Thanks for posting.

I made this for a family dinner and received several complements on it. Thanks, this one is going into my recipe box, it will be great for potlucks. Also, you can always make the low fat version by getting the light old cheese and light mayo. It tastes good even with bacon bits, if you don't have the time to fry up some bacon.
