This sauce was good, but it didn't thicken up at all, I ended up having to add corn starch.
Absoulutely delicious - tastes just like the restaurant version. However, I've made it using roasted garlic for a richer flavor.
How came any one say its close in taste to TGIF"s. This recipe tatses more like a Sweet Teriyaki with Onions, Lot of Soy Sauce taste. The product served at TGIF does NOT taste like it. Don't waste your money and time, search the net for a closer recipe, or buy a bottled sauce.
I will make this sauce again. It did not thicken, and tasted like pure soy/teriyaki sauce...until I added additional brown sugar. Perfect!
I made this to brush on salmon fillets before I grilled them. I only had pineapple juice so I used that instead of grape juice. I also grated my onion because I don't like chunky things in my dipping sauce. I will definitely make this again. It would be good brushed on shrimp kabobs or even grilled veggies. Thanks for the great recipe.
This recipe did not taste at all like tgif`s. We did not like it at all.
This sauce never thickened up after a hour of cooking it. I thought it wasn't nearly as good as Tgi Fridays I had it the night before so I wouldn't forget what the taste was like. I added corn starch finally but I still didn't care for the taste
I really liked this sauce, I found it very easy to prepare.
