Jack Daniel's Dippin' and Grillin' Sauce

Similar to Friday's. Great for dipping grilled meats, especially chops, steaks and chicken. Easy to make. Keeps well in frig.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 vidalia onion, chopped
  • 29.58 ml butter
  • 118.29 ml brown sugar
  • 59.14-118.29 ml Jack Daniels Whiskey (your preference)
  • 236.59 ml bottled barbecue sauce (we like Sweet Baby Ray's)
  • 14.79 ml mustard (we like sweet and spicy)

Directions

  1. Melt butter in skillet. Add onions and cook over med-high heat until tender and translucent. Continue to simmer for 15 more minutes.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 15 more minutes.
  3. You are now ready to serve it as a dipping sauce or use it to baste things on the grill -- or BOTH!
