J.a.'s BBQ Baked Beans

Awesome recipe for an outdoor BBQ. Very easy to make.

• Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients:

Servings: 8

• 1 walla walla onion (Minced)
• 1 lb thick sliced bacon (Cut Into 1/2 Inch Slices)
• 1 lb smoked sausage (Cut Into 1/2 Inch Chunks)
• 2 (28 ounce) cans of bush's country style baked beans (Drained)
• 1 cup brown sugar
• ½ cup barbecue sauce
• ½ cup maple syrup

Directions:

1. In large pot, put in bacon slices. Cook on medium heat for 5-7 minutes. Throw in minced onion and smoked sauage. Cook on medium heat until sausage and bacon is nicely browned.
2. Pour both cans of drained baked beans into pot. Stir thoroughly until all ingredients are combined, turn heat down to lowest setting.
3. Stir in brown sugar, barbecue sauce and maple syrup. Cook on minimum heat for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally.
