Perfect spring salad! I used everything except the tortilla chips. I loved the olives, super yummy. It's a keeper in our house! Thanks for sharing! :)

Tasted just like a taco! Served it with salsa, hot sauce, gaucamole and sour cream. I tried the black olives, but not my cup of tea. Loved the idea of using crunched tortilla chips.

I made a vegetarian version with kidney beans and broiled tortilla strips instead of the chips. It was very well received, thanks for the recipe!

I made half a recipe and it was just right for the two of us. Great little salad. Quick and easy to do. Served it with Wholly Guacamole.

Delicious! Organic Romaine lettuce fresh from the garden, organic beef and organic raw cheese made this extra tasty and extra healthy! I also added fresh chopped tomatoes, black olives, sour cream and Black Bean & Corn Salsa, which gave it the perfect kick. Served over Garden of Eatin' organic corn chips. And completed the meal with fresh, homemade Mango Sorbet...perfect ending to a perfect meal!

Yum! This WAS easier than tacos, and I enjoyed it more. I served with baked Doritoes, which I definitely recommend. I also mixed the salsa and [light] sour cream to make a southwestern salad dressing. This will become a summer staple for us!

This is the same recipe that my mom made for my family, and it is the same recipe that I use now. The only thing that we do differently is omit sour cream and olives, and add French dressing and white rice. Delicious!

This is exactly how we make taco salads at our house. Sometimes we sub sliced green onions for regular onions and sometimes we add some picante sauce. MMMmmm good.

I made everything and put them in separate baggies/bowls and took it out to the park with a friend I haven't seen in a while and my daughter. They both LOVED it, and had seconds...and then my husband had a heaping bowl of the leftovers for lunch the next day. This recipe is a keeper!! Things I did differently: -added tofu to the ground beef -left out the olives & sour cream -cooked the beef in a skillet Next time I will: -Add avocado. Thanks for posting, we all loved it!

This was one of the best taco salads I have ever had! We added guacamole to ours and I also used multigrain tortilla chips. Definately just like a taco but simpler. And as opposed to taco salads you get in the tortilla "bowl" it was much easier to eat!

It's easy to have "mexican" night at our house with this recipe... I made it exactly as written... except for the following: I browned the meat on the stove top and used my own homemade taco seasoning mix. I like to mix it up and use half plain tortilla chips and half lime for some zest. I tried spritzing my salad with some lime and I loved it!!! Thanks for sharing!!!

This was great. Next time I think we'll mix everything together in the salad bowl first, and then serve onto plates. Turned out nicely though.

This was a great lunch! For the tortillas, I cut up some whole wheat tortilla, sprayed them with a little olive oil spray, sprinkled it with some chili powder & seas salt & baked them for 10 min at 325 (I got that recipe from this site-it's called "baked tortilla chips"). I used lean ground turkey with homemade taco seas, lettuce, red onions, low fat mexican cheese, taco sauce & fat free sour cream. It was so yummy & easy. Thank you very much for sharing!

I got a lot of compliments on this. I put it through the food processor for a smoother texture. Thanks so much for posting.
