      What a wonderful soup! The only kind of tomato soup I like is homemade, and this was delicious!! I read some of the other reviews, and I think I prefer this soup pureed, which is what I did. The only change I made (if you can eve call it that) was for the salt I used my Tuscan flavored sea salt. I did make my own horesradish sauce from 1 TBSP of Tofutti sour cream, 2-3 tsp horseradish and a squeeze of lime juice. I thought that gave this the perfect little kick, but not too overpowering. Did not have orecchiette, so I used a cup of orzo (one of my favorite pastas in soups!)

      This was a wonderful and tasty soup! I followed the directions exactly but I think I will try another reviewers post and not puree it next time. Thank you for a delicious dish! Made for Think Pink Breast Awareness 2009.

      This was good. I wasn't too sure about the horseradish but found it brought a nice zing to it. It was like adding something spicy. The flour and puree did make the soup thicker, which was also a nice touch.

      This was really tasty with an excellent flavour. The horseradish is a brilliant idea. I couldn't find any orecchiette so I just used spirals instead. I don't know if we were very hungry but two of us polished this off for dinner.

      This soup is wonderful. I love tomato soup and this one is so flavorful and easy to make. It made a great lunch!

      Karen this soup is wonderful! Made this and took it next door to my parents for lunch. We all loved it and said we want it again soon. It has been pretty cold here and the soup really hit the spot. I used beef broth instead of the bouillon cubes, petite diced tomatoes and did not add the green pepper because I didnt have one on hand. Tasted the soup before adding it to the blender to puree and it was so good that I decided not to puree it. Also used small shell pasta that worked nicely with the smaller tomato pieces. Next time will give it a try pureed but either way I think this is very good soup! Made and reviewed for the Australia/New Zealand Forum's Recipe Swap #22.

      I have just made this and given it to a sick child who said it was really yummy. Soup is always the answer when you have a bad cold and this was no exception. I put pesto on top instead of sour cream. Great recipe , Karen !!!

      Delicious and so easy too! We used tiny shell pasta for the pasta. The other change I made was using vegetable broth and a tomato/chicken bouilliion cube. I skipped the tomato puree and the sour cream - making this a very filling and low fat/low cal meal that was perfect for the whole family. Thanks for sharing!

      Terrific soup, very tasty and just spouts the use of tomatoes, the vegetables, stocks, and horseradish. Very simplistic to prepare and could easily take additions as determined by the cook. I followed this exactly, except for two small additions, one being, in went fresh peas that were begging to be thrown into the warm soup. And I added some fresh homemade cheese to the top for fun. Just great in taste, and not very long to prepare, all these lead to a 5* here, and thanks for such a wonderful, delightful soup Thanks, Karen! Made for *SSC Pet Parade*

      This is not the type of soup to serve as an entree in a gourmet restaurant. It rather falls in the same category as a Murcian cauldron or a classical gulash - and needs to be scored in that context. We had it on a cool and rainy Sunday, which is exactly the kind of weather to ahve this. Simple in preparation and full of flavours accosting the taste buds without pause. And the secret ingredient is the horseradish, without which it will not be the same. The fifth star is for a recipe that will not suffer from making by feel i.e. not sticking religiously to quantities. Within limits, the soup will taste the same PROVIDED you are careful with the horseradish. Thanks Karen, it was all it promised to be.
