This recipe had a nice flavor that we enjoyed. The only change I made in the recipe was to add salt for additional flavor. When I make this again, I'll use one reviewer's suggestion of boiling the potatoes a bit before putting the casserole together.
I boiled the potatoes before hand, to cut the cooking time and it worked out fine. We made alot, like 60 servings, and did it in less than 2 hours.
Delicious. Loved the addition of the swiss cheese on top. Unfortunatly I had to make a sub. I realized too late, I was out of tomato soup, so I used a can of tomato sauce. I believe the texture of the sauce would have a differant mouth feel with it. I will deffinatly make it as stated next time.:)
