This was a great recipe. Delicious flavors. I made it the night before for our lunch the next day. It took about 45 minutes to cook plus the extra 5 for the cheese to brown a bit. The sauce had a very nice flavor. I had just added an extra clove of garlic and some salt and pepper. Will definitely be making this yummy dish again. Thanks hungrykitten.

What a wonderful recipe! I'd never made stuffed shells before, so I wanted this as a guide. I cut the recipe down to 3 servings and used a jar of spaghetti sauce instead of the water, tomato paste, bouillon, and oregano. The sauce I used was beef flavored because of the idea of beef bouillon. I also used lean ground beef. I made these around noon and put them in the fridge until 5:30, popped them in the oven and they were ready by 6:15. Delicious, relatively easy meal! Thank you! Photo: I'm bad about not getting a photo of the final dish, but here's one of the shells stuffed and ready for the meat sauce.
