  1. Made this the other night for a "change" from traditional spaghetti. What a great meal! The sausage really gives it a different taste. will definitely make again many times. Thanks for the recipe!

  2. I looked at this recipe and said you have to try it - it is so simple and how can this be so different? Well it is different and very good! Recipe said use "ANY" kind of sausage well I used a smoked Mennonite sausage, followed the recipe and steps - I used fresh tomatoes (had a surplus on hand) instead of canned diced. Now I know the name of the recipe says "Italian Sausage Spaghetti" but the recipe does not say to serve it over pasta nor does it say how much Italian spice to use (I used 1 tsp and served it over spaghetti) but I would equally like it over noodles. I simmered for about 1 1/2 hrs on minimum heat. Added 6 drops of Denzils "Stomp" hotsauce and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese, served with a lovely fresh green salad. I would have awarded 5 stars if there were a bit more detail for the ingredients and final steps. Thanks itty bitty for a very tasty dinner
