In my opinion, this recipe could benefit by adding a few tablespoons of liquid. Taste was good, but the peas seemed rather dry to me. Thanks.
I made these for the "Best of" tag game and they are delicious and simple. I made them as directed but used a minimal amount of olive oil and omitted the butter. If individuals really want the buttery taste they can add a dab to their individual servings. More garlic is better too!
This was a very nice way to add some extra flavor to plain old peas. I was out of Romano cheese, so I used Parmesan instead. Loved the Italian flavors in this one.
I halved the recipe, but used a really big garlic clove....love garlic! I absolutely loved these! I had to use frozen peas, and can only imagine how good this would be with fresh ones. Thanks for posting this delicious recipe.
Excellent flavorful recipe that uses minimal ingredients! This is now a staple at my home. What a wonderful way to jazz up regular frozen peas!
Very tasty! I used 4-5 garlic cloves (we love it) and cut the recipe in half. I only had parmesan cheese but it was still good. Thanks for this one. Made for I Recommend Tag Game 2009.
Loved the range of flavours here, especially the garlic! Thanks for a flavourful but easy side!
Yummy side dish and great way to dress up frozen peas! I served this with Mushroom Stroganoff With Mustard and Chive Mash and it was a great combination. Thanks Realtor for a simple and great dish. Made for Cookbook Tag.
This is one terrific and different was to serve peas! I followed the recipe exactly and topped with parmesan cheese. These pea's had such a wonderful flavour to them, and makes a great and easy side dish. The family loved the peas being served this way, and I certainly will be making these again. Thanks for a great recipe.
Never can I look at the pea in the same way again. Sweetened with a garlic-onion saute and topped with parmesan culminating in the unexpected. Ummmmm, I think a certain someone stole your idea of 'kicking it up a notch'.
