This is an outstanding sandwich! I think it is more of a hoagie than a panini. but whatever you call it, it's delicious. The only change I made to the recipe was to place the gouda on the toasted bread first and stick it back in the oven for a couple of minutes to melt. Otherwise I followed the recipe to a "T". My DH thought it worthy of more than 5 stars. Thanks for posting Culinary Explorer!

Delicious sandwich!!! We used Swiss cheese instead of the Gouda but otherwise made per the recipe. Great flavors with all the different meats and ingredients. Made on French Bread. Will make again as my GF and I both loved them! Mike

Terrific sandwich! We made these for dinner last night and it was a wonderful quick recipe. I couldn't find asiago cheese rolls so I used ciabatta rolls instead. I was able to find a pack of gourmet italian meats that Culinary Explorer talked about. They were sliced very slim and we sampled each one first, lol, and enjoyed them all. This is definately a flavorful sandwich. Made for the PRMR tag game.
