Recipe using Good Seasons Italian Seasoning Mix from the side of the box! States it is good as a salad dressing or as a marinade for chicken, beef or fish. Note. . .I like to add 1 tsp of Agave Nectar to this to sweeten it up a tad. Great served over a veggie salad with lettuce, carrots, zucchini, and tomatoes!
- 1 (2/3 ounce) packetof good seasons Italian salad dressing mix
- 1⁄4 cup white wine vinegar
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Whisk together all ingredients.
- Serve atop a salad or use as a marinade for chicken, beef or fish.
A keeper for me too! I made my own Italian dressing mix (not available here) and even my DD liked it. The second day tasted even better. Can't wait to try it on a pasta salad.
Whipped up this recipe, using honey Dijon mustard, as a marinade for chicken breasts ~ A BIG HIT with us!
