This is such a wonderful latenight snack, or anytime snack....takes no time at all to make, and tastes so yummy.

This is a quick, easy, tasty appetizer. Since I am on the weight watchers diet, I used high fiber, reduced calorie bread and used half fat free mayo and half regular (Dukes brand) along with fresh herbs. I will surely be making this again maybe trying with crescent roll, canned biscuit, or puffed pasty. Thanks for the recipe.

  1. Set oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Prepare a baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the mayo, onion, parsley and basil until blended.
  4. Spread each slice of bread with 1/4 cup of the cheese mixture.
  5. Cut into 4 triangles, and place on baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
  7. If desired, a small amount of shredded cheddar cheese may be added to mayo mixture or sprinkled on top before baking.
