Great recipe! I have a hard time getting my son to eat chicken. I coated some tenders in an egg wash and then with these breadcrumbs (I used fresh bread), then sauteed in butter and olive oil, and my son devoured it!! Anything that gets such a reaction surely deserves 5 stars. DH and I also loved the flavor and crispy texture. Thanks for a keeper that I'll use over and over. :-)
EXCELLENT! I made my own bread crumbs with some old bread in the frig and then used this recipe to top them off. I really didn't have the money to go out and buy any, but the best part was these turned out better than anything I could buy.
Perfect! I substitute 100% whole wheat bread crumbs for plain, but other than that.....better than store bought! Absolutely perfect for # 19135!!

I made these to use in my veggie burger recipe. They are very easy to make, and a fraction of the cost of store-bought. I made my own bread crumbs in the food processor, too, using whole wheat bread. I doubt that I will ever buy Italian bread crumbs again. Thank you so much for posting!

This recipe saved dinner! I didnt have any plain breadcrumbs, so I just put 22 ritz crackers and all of the spices in my food processor until crumbly. It turned out great! Thanks!
