Great! I keep homemade bread crumbs (made from toasted leftover bread and run through the food processor) in the freezer, so this was easily put together for an Italian meatloaf. I love that you can both control the ingredients and make something better and less expensive than what's sold in stores. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

I had plain bread crumbs and needed to make italian season breadcrumbs. This recipe was a huge help and my gosh did my chicken parm come out good!!! I got the recipe for the chicken parm from another website but the bread crumb recipe from here made it so much better!! I will def be making this more often!

Once again, my bacon has been saved, so to speak. So easy when you know how. I coated some small flat fish with mayonaise and these bread crumbs and they smelled and tasted delicious. Might try them on some chicken next! Thanks Food.com :-)

Thanks for saving my dinner plans, only had plain breadcrumbs in the cupboard & needed Italian for my recipe...you saved me having to dash down the shops..Cheers!

Love this recipe! Must admit thaat I used it in a different way but the seasonings were just right! Instead of breadcrumbs I used matzo meal. I was making matzo balls for my chicken soup and wanted to shake up the flavor a bit. Usually the only herb I use is dill so this was different indeed! The other change I made was to decrease the salt to 1/4 tsp and increase the onion powder to 1/2.

Excellent! I threw some sliced bread and the seasonings into my food processor. Took maybe a minute to make this. I figure was cost was really zero because I would have probably thrown out the bread and the seasonings would would probable go too if not used used up quick enough. Never will I by dry bread crumbs again! Cheap, easy, tasty! As a cook, everything I look for! I used it for Awesome Baked Pork Chops Awsome Baked Pork Chops, highly recommend!
