The butter really gives the bread a nice flavor--very different. The inside was nice and chewy, the crust crisp--next time I will loosely cover the top of the bread with some foil as it bakes, as it was already dark brown after 30 minutes in the oven. It was very easy to make. Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe!

I tried these and the results were perfect. I f you want a good and quick bread for a go-along with any meal, this is it.

Extra-Wunnerful and Easy recipe to put together! Don't have to be a veteran breadmaker to tackle this one ... You get 2 large, crusty on the outside, tender on the inside loaves ... Slap on some butter and garlic salt, and it goes great with any entree! Love the flavor! Thanks, Dolly, this one is definitely a keeper! Laudee
