Islands China Coast Salad Dressing

I found this on the Top Secrets Recipe site. I was desperately searching for a well flavored "oriental" dressing to make a Chinese chicken salad with. I found it! You can use light or nonfat mayonnaise with no problems.

• Prep Time: 5 mins
• Cook Time: 2 mins

Ingredients:

Serves: 8

Yield: 0.5 cup

• ½ cup mayonnaise
• 5 tablespoons rice vinegar
• 2 tablespoons sugar
• 2 tablespoons sesame oil
• 1 tablespoon soy sauce
• ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Directions:

1. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and mix with an electric mixer until well blended and sugar is dissolved.
2. Chill before serving.

Wow, this is great! Just like the dressing on my favorite Applebee's salad, the Oriental Chicken Salad. So easy to mix up and so easy to eat. A real winner.

Really good and xtra easy. I just whisked it together and let it sit in fridge for awhile before serving. Good on spinach salad, chicken salad, and even as a dipping sauce for grilled veggies.

So simple, so yummy. I've made it countless times. I usually serve it with shredded cabbage, carrots, and chow mein noodles. Add chicken, and you have a meal. For me, it's perfect as written.
