From a very old cookbook I found at Grandma's house, 'Foreign Foods.'
- Combine salad greens in a large bowl.
- Mix cheese and carrot until blended.
- Shape into small balls and place on top of greens.
- Serve with your favorite salad dressing.
We all enjoyed this salad. We used Ranch dressing and we all liked it.
Easy, cute and very kid-friendly salad! Kids will love the carrot/cheese balls. To give the salad some more flavor and color, I added sliced red onions. I used a vinegarette dressing, while the kids enjoyed this with lowfat ranch dressing. Thanx for sharing!
I enjoyed this different salad! It was easy to form the carrot/cheese combo into balls and it looked pretty too. I used leaf lettuce and Vidalia dressing. Thanks Mama!
