I got this recipe from a dear client of mine, who has since passed on. I made these last year and am so glad she passed the recipe on to me. They are simple to make and very delicious. I can not remember for the life of me how many jars I got out of this recipe, but I guessed and will correct it when I make them again. Guessed on the prep and cooking times too.

  1. Peel and slice the cucumbers and the onions. Sprinkle with the 3 tablespoons pickling salt and let stand overnight. Drain in the morning.
  2. Boil together the brine ingredients until they are thickened. Pour over pickles. Boil 15 minutes or more. Put into hot sterile jars.
