I love this recipe! I'm very glad that I found it online. This is my second time making them, mine are in the oven now with 3 mins to go! I like that this recipe is so versatile. You can substitute endless ingredients for the white choc. or add them to it. I always only use half a bag and that is PLENTY. This is the only recipe ive found online that I didn't have to change. I followed the measurements and instructions to a T and it was perfect. Someone before me said the dough was crumbly so they had to add water, that's not so I promise. It may be crumbly after u add the 3rd cup flour but all it takes is some vigorous styring & folding. I even use my hands a bit towards the end. I don't recommend adding any water if u follow this to the letter they'll turn out great. These cookies are decadent enough for holidays, events or special occasions, yet easy & simple enough for whipping up on a Wednesday afternoon for yourself and family. Thanks Food.com! -Jo Molly
Delicious cookies however next time I will only use half a bag of white chocolate chips. There were too many for my taste. I used butter and the cookies turned out perfect.
I just whipped these up, and they are a amazing!!! I used real butter instead of margarine- awesome!!!
I've made many cookies, but these cookies absolutely smelled the BEST when I pulled them out of the oven! Chewy and so so tasty...I used 6 ounces of white choice chips instead of 12 ounces, as I didn't want the cookies to be overly sweet, and they worked a treat. Can't wait for my husband to try them and give his verdict tonight!
Delicious. Soft, chewy. Name says it all. Thank you. They are absolutely ummmmmm, amazing. I know it's a cookie. So many come out hard, to cakey, these are just right! my new go tos! Thank you
I only used 3/4 bag of the white chocolate chips but I recommend using the full bag like the recipe suggests since the cookie has a chewy almost cake like texture that way the chips complement every bite. Good cookie. We'll see how it stands up to the boyfriend's standards.
I love sweet so I didn't listen to the others saying to halve the chips. Delicious! But I will use less chips next time. Haha! I actually used half a bag of white chocolate and half a bag of butterscotch. I also added macadamia nuts because I used all my pecans making caramel pecan popcorn. You can definitely play around with this recipe. Next time I'll try a little less chips and pecans. Trying not to eat these! They're for Christmas baskets.
Very yummy! I only used 1/2 a bag of chip, and added small bag of walnuts. Very good! Thank you for posting!
These cookies were fabulous, and I don't even like white chocolate that much! I used salted butter, which I think made the flavors pop that much more. I only used a little over half of a bag of wihte chocolate chips and that was plenty.
Rich and good. Dropped by teaspoon fulls and baked for 12 minutes on a lightly sprayed cookie sheet.
