These look very good and sweet; would be good for Thanksgiving.

I only needed enough carrots for the two of us, and did not want to fuss, so used the baby carrots whole, and eyeballed the rest of the ingredients. It worked out perfectly and made a great side to some leftover corned beef. Anyway, how can anything with whiskey in it be bad?

Directions

  1. Melt butter.
  2. Add carrots.
  3. Cook for a minute.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Add whiskey OFF the stove.
  6. Add brown sugar.
  7. Return to stove.
  8. Cook covered for 5 minutes or until carrots are as tender as you like them.
