Christmas cheer! This is rich, elegant and delicious. Easy to double or triple for a holiday open house. Recipe is from Leisure Arts.
- 2 quarts eggnog
- 1⁄3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons instant coffee powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 cup Irish whiskey
- 1 quart coffee ice cream
- Combine first five ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
- Beat at low speed until smooth; stir in whiskey.
- Chill 1 to 2 hours.
- Pour into a punch bowl.
- Top punch with scoops of ice cream.
